Kate,
I have a drift of Centaurea montana that looks lovely in a drift. They are
a very nice blue. I started with a small patch from a friend and they
spread. But now, 5 years later, they are thinning again. They must just be
old. The downside is that they require a lot of dead-heading to keep up the
show.
