Sorry to take so long on this one, Merri,
    Finally located the little blue sticker the information was on.... those
sticky notes are great until one get stuck to the wrong thing and the note
begins to travel...
    Anyway, the name of the two hybrid asters are "Blue Lake" and "Violet
Lake" Both have A. tataricus in the parentage. One JoAn grew in her raised
beds in full sun. The other I grew in part sun in my garden. Mine did the
best. I have only had the plants one year, so I can not give you a run down
on just how aggressive they are over time. Mine was quite reasonable. Wish
it had filled out a bit more, to be honest. They both were released by
Hines. Now I can not bet Hines wholesalers to come up on the web........
    I was impressed with the one I grew. Email me in 3 or 4 years and see
what the final verdict becomes...
