Hey, Screamn5,
Bloodgrass should stand about 12-18 inches tall, mostly upright but with a
gentle arch at the top of its stem. The variety I. 'Rubra' has definite red
coloring mostly on the tips. As the season progresses, it will become more
and more read. If you have it in an area where it gets back lighting from
the sun, you are in for a real treat. The red is quite glorious. Be
patient, it doesn't spread very fast. If you want a fast clump, plant 3 or
more a few inches apart.
