For me grasshoppers are a negative as we have so many of them and I don't
like to spray, although sometimes I get desperate and spray them with
malathion, it seems the least harmful to others. Japanese Blood grass
spread via underground stolons, I think. They spread quite slowly but mine
do increase each year enough to pass some along. JC
