Sorry I forgot to mention my zone. I'm in zone 8, Mississippi. I have been watching
the goldfish, it's been so warm.
Do you have to cut the roots out in order to plant the annuals under the maple?
I tried to save a Stella D'oro from under one and had the hardest time digging it
up.
