There is a small daffodil by the name of Hawera that would be perfect
along a walk of this length. Not terribly expensive, last year I ordered
100 from Daffodil Mart for $31.
(Phone # 1-800-255-2852) Several little bells per stem, lemon yellow in
color and It is a good increaser. Cultivated in New Zealand and named
after a N.Z. town. It would bloom in zone 6 between the middle and end
of April.
If you're looking for a daffodil with a little more color and early
season, I suggest Jet Fire. $38 per 100. Yellow perianth, orange-red
cup, blooms toward the end of March. Wonderful increaser.
Last year I bought some Liriope from the local HQ cheap - $2. per pot,
It still looks great and shows considerable increase. Both of these
daffs would look great with liriope.
