They do not eat the whole bulb but just chew on it- three or four nice big
bite-at least for a squirrel. Damage has been clonal specific in the past but
darn if I can remember which ones were most effected.
here is a list of what I have planted.
Sinopel
Actaea
John Strauss
Suzy
Unique
Ice King
Ice Follies
Actrice
Karelia
Manon Lescaut
Bella Vista.
Last fall was the odd year so no Dafs this year- but next fall I will keep
an eye on which ones the buggers go after.!!!
