I have tried Iceland poppies a couple of times. They always have
disappeared down to the ground in just a couple of days. I supposed it
was deer coming out of the forest and eating them, though others things
are only eaten intermittently. Are poppies deer-attractant for some
reason? If there are plants which are especially attractive to deer, I
would like to avoid them, because they might make the deer hang around
more than they might otherwise. Has anyone else found this to be the
case?
