Funny that you should ask, as I was just talking
to someone about my faves.
1. echinops ritro, phlox 'David',[COLOR
PLEASE] veronica 'Goodness Grows' staggered
in
that order
2. purple coneflower and liatris [THE WHITE
OR LAVENDER?]intermingled, bordered with
pink coreopis
3. oriental lillies and calamintha -- a living
floral arrangement
4. purple allium 'globemaster' peeking out of
pink shrub roses
5. pink malva fastigiata (sp?), shasta daisies,
purple monarda (a fight
among these for space as they all are agressive
growers for me)
6. blue mist shrub with russet-colored fall
mums (a recent love as I
caught all on sale at a local nursery just this
past fall)
7. and for shock appeal, blood-red asiatics with
orange and hot-pink
asiatics. Temper the group with white
calamintha and dark blue veronica.
Wow!
THANKS! Lovely suggestions. I'm trying to
"remember" some of my own. Last summer
seems a long time ago!
