Yes, because there wasn't anything else available.  I'm in my own Sunset
zone, which is odd (in other words, in only covers Central Texas).  I
have no affinity to other areas of the country -- either east or west.
Of course, this means that if it SAYS it'll work in zone 30, it ought to
be a sure thing; but I believe that they are too conservative and a lot
of things that would truly grow well here are not listed as hardy here,
simply because it's easy to overlook one little pocket with NO
relationship to other zones for comparison purposes.
