Regarding the crocus, I have seen on HGTV. acople of things. One way th
protect your bulbs from the critters is to make a cge out of chicken wire and
bury the whole thing. One I saw on Rebecca's Garden was she took steel wool
and wrapped a bulb in that and planted. I also have heard about the sharp
rockstoo. I'm going to try that this summer for my potted plants because
that's where the squirrels dig at my house. I had corn growing where I didn't
want it.
