I posted that already--wait until the foliage yellows. I think that is
somewhere in the 4-6 weeks after bloom range. If your foliage hangs on a

long time after that, someone said August for them, you can probably go ahead
and remove it. But it is so much nicer to just have companion plantings so
you don't have to fuss with cutting or removing at all because the companions
grow out to hide the foliage.

Tulips and Dafs grow a little differently in the spring. Dafs bloom before the
leaves are fully produced. most if not all the tulips that I have seen produce
leaves first or at the leaves fully expand as the flowers are produced.
Thus Tulips are already storing "food" as they flower. While Dafs are still
using food from the bulb to make leaves while they are flowering.
