Another reason to order from catalogues are:
1. You make sure you get what you want without
having to haunt the nurseries all the time (your time
is worth something -- and I wonder if I don't spend
less ordering it even with shipping if it keeps me
out of the nurseries ;-) );
2. You keep getting catalogues which keep you
informed on new varieties, etc.
3. Many catalogues are worth as much as any
perennial book for information.
4. Great way to keep from becoming depressed
during winter!

& handling, the local
prices are better. But I order from catalogs
because I can't get the
varieties locally that I can get through the catalogs.
