Thanks, Sally. I don't do houseplants anymore so I didn't really know. All I
was trying to suggest to the subscribers was that if this sounded like a good
idea and their tomato plants stuck into a bag of potting soil didn't grow
much, it was because there was nothing to feed them. The original poster made
it sound like you could buy any potting soil and create a miracle.
