Hi! I'm a lurker here and have been reading what you all have to say for
awhile now and learning a lot too I might add. I just went into
Amazon.com to purchase an Encyclopedia of Perennials and found there are
several and a couple on back order. Any recommendations as to which one
is best?
My husband and I are trying to recover from working soil and planting 4
large perennial beds this spring and summer and want to know all we can
about what we have and what we will be adding.
Encyclopedia of Perennials : A Gardener's Guide
by Christopher Woods
Rodale's Illustrated Encyclopedia of Perennials
by Ellen Phillips, C. Colston Burrell (Contributor)
Armitage's Garden Perennials : A Color Encyclopedia
by Allan M. Armitage
These three seem to be the major ones. Which is best? is there
another?
I have Perennial All-stars, which I love and also the Well Tended
Perennial garden. I want to add an encyclopedia of perennials for my
fall and winter reading.
Thanks,
Cathy Higgins
