Good suggestions, Dale, but the gardens here are much too extensive to try to
customize each planting the way you've suggested and I don't like to use
sharp objects because they are also detrimental to the gardener's hands.
What I really meant by there being no practical way to eliminate the moles
was that as soon as I would get rid of them a new crew would attack from the
woods--there's an endless supply of the critters. I've learned to co-exist.
Enter only the battles I can win.
