Re: colors
I really think that something in my garden distorts colors in some
way. A new rose, Gina Lolobrigida, bloomed this year and it was a
bright pink, instead of a vivid yellow. I figured that was simply
mislabelled, and the nursery is going to replace it next year. But how
to explain the English Garden rose which was the proper yellow color its
first year, then started to bloom pink this year? It did eventually
become a faint yellow, but it never became as bright as it was the first
year, and as it should have been according to the picture on the label.
I must say that pink is not my favorite flower color, especially since
it seems to be so common around here!
