Dean,

all of my garden is amended clay.  Could be why the crocosmia doesn't care
for it.  I have the dahlias and cannas in separate beds, but both are
"hilled up" and have better drainage.  I'm going to try moving the
crocosmia and see what happens.

By the way, when does yours bloom?
