feet
wide and 35 feet long in an arch. It is to be all different kinds and sizes
of
troughs in arrangements with garden sculpture, rocks. The beds they sit in
will
also be planted in between the roughs for two levels of plants, some dwarf
conifers. have about 1/4 completed as of a month ago. May get a bit more

coming fall. Looks as though I will have a few alpines here after all;-) >>
Haha - another affliction. It will take years to clear up this one, Gene.
Remember we are East Coast and most of the USA information comes from West
Coast gardeners.
I always pay attention to postings from Eastern gardeners.
While you mention "new editor", I also note that this is an improvement for
us. The former editor a wonderful gardener with the premier rock guy in
country for a husband was not at all tuned in to the states east of the
Mississippi. She came as a guest to luncheon for us and was charming, a
truly likeable lady. I was astonished at the zoning information and
hardiness information discussed. Zone 4 in NYS is not zone 4 in Denver.
Everything that she recommended for us could not work with the rain that
falls here in normally.
I like the new format of the Quarterly and hope to see you from time to time.
The new editor is also one of nicest web friends that I have encountered. I
love the seed list plus I like the SIGNA list. If I subscribe to any more
lists I will need an employee.
BTW, if you are not receiving SIGNA, it too, has a new editor and format.
Now if I could only remember to use labels when there is a new something I
won't recognize....................
