RE: mystery plant

I really don't know - I've been leafing through my books, but so far nothing looks right. I'll go back to the encyclopedia ones to see if any thing comes close. I could not ask the center manager - the store was being run by volunteers for a fund raiser.

It's not a sage or saliva, is it?

as the final stop before going home my daylily buddy wanted to stop
at a local nursery closing in Stow MA.... Lots of bargains, and I got
one thing that I fell for, but it has no tag!
silver, felted leaves in a flat rosette. the leaves are nearly
perfect ovals. no bloom scape.... It is not a stachys that I have
ever seen.

I figured it was worth a $1 and that I would tuck it in a empty spot.
If it doesn't make it, oh well, and if it does, that's great!

now is there a plant finder out there that I can use to make an educated guess.
