For several years I saved several over in my basement and never lost any.
Sorry, I didn't do anything fancy. I just left them in the pots, cut them
back and brought them into my basement where I set them on shelves or under
tables; somewhere out of the way. Quit watering them, of course, until March
sometime when they would start sprouting. My basement is about 65 to 67
degrees in the winter.
Why did I quit if its this easy? Got tired of them and very few bloomed B4
August. And I was running out of room on my patio. I think I will try a
couple more next summer again. ;-)
