Bill,
How hot is that pond water? Might want to freeze a jug of water and
throw it in... or some ice cubes.
Got aeration in that pond? Lack of oxygen will kill them faster than
anything.
Have fun at your convention.. and do tell us about the Heronswood tour
when you get back!
