Monarchs are definitely here in my yard in Kansas, and I used lawn
fertilizer with weed killer. No insecticides, though.

Yes, Donna, I noticed I don't have a single monarch. I blamed it on the
neighbors' lavish use of lawn fertilizer with weed killer in it, but maybe
it
has a more global cause. The only thing on my butterfly weed this year was
honey bees.
