Speaking of Daylilies...

Maybe Cheryl or one of you other daylily gurus can help me... I have some special daylilies (5 of them) that I paid a small fortune for. Bought them from We're In the Hayfield Now. They lived in the ground the first year and were happy. Next spring, when I knew we were moving, I potted them, and they bloomed away that summer. When we moved in the fall, I got them into the ground by early Oct. ( in a "holding area")where they lived for a year while construction was going on. Bloom was sparser than previous and I figured they needed dividing. Last fall they got moved to their permanent homes. Also got divided cause they had really gotten quite big. This year one of varieties has lots of scapes and blooms, 2 of them have some scapes, maybe one per division, and 2 have no scapes at all, nor any sign of one. Any idea what gives? Do I just need to be more patient and wait till next year? Have I done them an injury? Help!

Thanks,
Lillian, Zone 5
