A recent acquisition is Allium beesianum. It's a teeny-weenie little item and
getting ready to bloom now.
A very fine rock garden allium and absolutely adorable. Deep true blue,
nodding umbels of bell-shaped flowers held above green tufts of grass-like
foliage. The foliage is so cute that it can be appreciated for that alone.
The anticipation is killing me!

I guess I misspoke. I meant Alliums that tolerate a little shade.
I get dappled light or a few hours of sun at best, so some of the Alliums can
take it if they're not too wet.

Allium aflatunense 'Purple Sensation' is a good example (and it seems to
tolerate smothered leaves), Allium cernuum, Allium senescens subsp. montanum
var. glaucum, and of course, Allium thunbergii 'Ozawa'
all have done fairly well in my somewhat shaded yard. :)

Nice find on the 'Olympic Mist'! Now to win the lottery! ;)
