Hi Chris,
I didn't realize there were alliums for shade. In looking around though I
found a wish list item, Allium carinatum 'Olympic Mist'. It has the shape of
flavum and the other A. carinatums I mentioned earlier except that it is
BLUE! But it is $10 for one and the only other suppliers are in Europe, one
of which has it for 25 for 12 pounds, which I'd pop for but it doesn't appear
they ship to the US. Darn!

I love Allium! I have to stick to shade species, but they act as such nice
accents.

My favorite of all is Allium thunbergii 'Ozawa'. Here's my old writeup from
when I had the nursery:

Although I have no idea what I was thinking with that Nepeta ucranica
pairing. And now, nine years later, I see a typo. :D

This summer has been awful rain-wise, and a lot of the sun-loving/dry plants
are suffering. The vegetables, on the other hand, are loving it.

Chris
