Try Lamium and Lamiastrum. The silver speckles on the leaves are
great in the shade. Fuschia procumbens - interesting shade
groundcover I would never be without. Trilliums. Sarcoccocca (is
that enough c's?); love this shrub with it's bluish-green leaves,
fragrant little flowers and then you get berries! Corokia
cotoneaster. I also find that Bergenia survives as well in the shade
as it does in the sun. Violas, impatiens, for a few more. My
Trigridia always bloomed in complete shade; maybe I was just lucky.

Need ideas!! I have a 15 foot tunnel that runs though my hedge. It gets
very little sun in summer and even less in winter. We put in a water
fall at one end with lots of ferns. Any ideas for plants that grow in
total shade.
