I'd still like to find a botanical name for the "Greenheaded Coneflower I
bought last week. I want to look it up, and be sure I've planted it where
we both will be reasonably happy.

Could it be:
E. tennesseensis (Tennessee coneflower). Erect perennial with linear
leaves, 4-6 inches long. In summer, produces flowerheads, to 4 inches
across, with conical greenish pink disks, and upturned, dark mauve ray
florets, 1 1/4 inch long. May be overrun by more aggressive plants. 24-36
inches tall, to 18 inches wide. Native S.E. US, zones 3-9.
