I have this in the front yard, and it's blooming wonderfully! The
center isn't orange like E. purpurea or E. pallida, but more of
a greenish-brown. They're much finer in texture than the other pink
Echinaceas, and because the petals stick nearly straight out they give
more of a daisy-like appearance.
Note though that it is an endangered species, so only plants grown
from seed on private land are allowed...
I walked by my 5' Echinacea purpurea today, and boy does it smell
good! It smells like honey and clover up to 5' away!
