Diatomaceous earth workd for controlling both earwigs and snails in my
yard.  Problem is keeping the stuff around long enough to make a
difference.  You need to reapply it after it gets wet.  But when the
earwigs fell like rain everytime we opened our front door, DE was the
asnwer.
