Hello Fellow Bird Lovers,
    I was reading, that it is important to put out, thistle seed,
for the Golden Finches.  My question then is this:  "Will the
thistle seed that I buy at say, Fred Meyers, be fine?  And 
my husband is concerned that when the birds scatter the
seed, while they're eating at the feeder, that we will then be
planting and growing thistle all over the yard?
I want to give my bird friends what is necessary for them,
however, I don't want to be planting thistle either.
What do you think?  We would really appreciate any
help and information on this matter.
