Hi, Isabelle --
Most sources say August 1 in the temperate zones -- I've cheated by a
week or two to encourage Fall rebloom. I think August 15 is
safe if you don't generally get frost in September. Eight weeks
before frost should be OK as long as the fertilizer is the once-a-
month kind. I just did a foliar drench with some kelp & fish
emulsion last week and the new growth is looking great already.
