Thanks for the pointer Janis. The place that delivers my soil always
asks *brown or black?* The black is simple topsoil (and great stuff at
that), but I've never had opportunity to use the brown (although I've
seen it at their establishment). It looks *peaty* brown, not like our
beige clay so I assume it's amended soil of some type. I'll ask about
content when I order.
I have a compost bin in my teeny city yard, but hardly enough to do the
grade at the new house (and YES, we ARE bagging it and moving it with the
house! . . . . I'm nuts, I know), but it's a start.
Anyone game for that previous catwalk question?
