I have no squirrels and the resident chipmunk (or munks) clears out a
feeder or two full of seed every year or two and then apparently
retires to Florida. But friends who have squirrel problems have
tried the pepper treatment in vain. Yet another example of YMMV
(Your Mileage May Vary), a principle inherent in gardening.

On behalf of my squirrel-plagued friends, does anyone else have
suggestions about this? (By the way, I have deer problems so don't
be too jealous of my squirrel-free life!)
