No, not true. It is really like a serial story which I'm enjoying
immensely. I really believe in about three years you are going to be
telling us about all the #$%^ shasta daisies coming up from seeds that
traveled all over your yard!

The majority of mine are long gone, just a few I missed cutting back
have sent forth a scraggly bloom or two usually lying flat on the
ground. I've never thought of pinching 'em back in the spring, but why
not? It might delay bloom, but they are pretty prolific anyway.

Here's a puzzler-- I apparently planted some white monarda and another
type of monarda (punctata?) which I have no memory of doing--! Good
grief, another instance of forgetfulness. Anyway, if it is M. punctata
(pinkish-purple flowers in whorls around last  few terminal nodes--horse
mint???), need I be wary of it's spreading uncontrollaby? I do like the
white monarda--very delicate looking compared to the robust scarlet
variety.
