The person who sent me the bulbs also sent a picture and the botonical name-
but since I am typing this at work, I can't remember it! The flowers were a
pink color (big help huh?). I will plant and see what happens, can always
give an update next year!
As to the Rose Campion...this is the second time I have bought it and have
discarded it. I had two plants (white flowers) that became *huge* -when I say
huge I mean they have to be over three feet across and at least two & a half
feet tall. Then when the flowers went by, I was left with fuzzy, brown-headed
seed heads. Just didn't appeal to me (again). First, I really wanted the
'rose' color Campion, but ended up with two white ones. Maybe mine need to be
planted in partial shade as I live on the south side of a hill and our yard is
much warmer than our neighbors who live on a flat area. Since I am expanding
my border I *may* try a rose colored Campion as this area gets some shade.
Maybe then, they will not take over the garden!
