Sue, I don't know what sedum you have, but if it propagates anything like
Autumn Joy, there is nothing to it at all. Break off a stem, poke a hole in
the ground with a stick (about pencil-sized), stick in the stem and firm up.
You can even water it if you want. These guys WANT to increase. This method
has always worked for me in Cincinnati, Zone 6a, and I have spread Joy
(Autumn) all over town.
