I could tell you one horrow story after another about trying to
garden. you would not believe how long I've tried to grow hollyhocks
and we've got Doreen here on the list that has them coming up in her
lawn. now that's discouraging.
and larkspurs we have a lady on the list that just throws the seed in
a pile of snow and she has 2 plants for every seed. and this year I
been on a Poppy crusade and I don't have "not one poppy"
I've cornered the market on discouragement but do I quit you bet
your boots I don't ..
I'm, by nature a very stubborn person. I'll have holllyhocks,
larkspurs, and poppys or else.
I just continue trying, because I feel like that I'm doing something
wrong, and some day I'll find out what. you wouldn't believe the
things I've learned just by being a member of this list. It amazes me
that there are so many people that knows so much more than I do.
I thought I knew everything No !! I'm just kidding
So please don't get discouraged. I've killed lots and lots of plants
in the10 + years that I have been gardening. just because I didn't
know what I was doing. I thought all you had to do was just buy the
plant, set it in the ground, and sit back and enjoy, but there is
more to it than that.
so here's wishing you the very best of luck and when you get
discouraged just talk to the list and some, or all of us will cheer you
on.
