Dear gardeners,
I need help! I was doing my usual evening walkabout checking all the
gardens and tonight I noticed that many of the bottom leaves of my Sedum
AUTUMN JOY were turning yellow and falling off. After closer inspection, I
saw that some of the yellowing leaves had brown, curling edges and spots on
the back. They are also very thin and limp feeling. There is also mildew,
that I can recognize. But, is the leaf problem due to not enough or too
much water???? It has been very hot and humid lately=mildew. I don't know
whether to water in the morning or not. The ground around the plants feels
dry on the surface, but I did not check deeper. Could someone explain the
difference between the yellowing of overwatering vs underwatering?
Thanks so much,
Lynn
