Hi Kemberly, They don't start from a leaf that I have ever heard of, but
the Gesneriad web site should give you that information. I have never
attempted stem cuttings, but it would be fun to try. They are just too cute

So I guess then propagating
them would some what like the african violet........can you do leaf cuttings
as well as rhisome?
