The audiobook, 'The Writer in the Garden: An Anthology of Garden Writing' is
a narration of a very well-selected collection of gardening essays, poems
and letters written by some famous (Henry Mitchell, Vita Sackville West,
Gertrude Jekyll, Ken Druse...) and some not-so-famous writer/gardeners. In
other words, it is just folks reading great gardening articles. The topics
are varied -- the love of gardening, the trials of weeding, the challenge of
designing...
It is at times inspiring, at times educational, and at times hilarious, but
always entertaining.
I do a lot of gardening and a lot of garden reading and I absolutely adore
these tapes. I have no doubt you will, too! --Janis
