I'll take this opportunity to report that I've grown sanguinaria from
seed, and this year it's grown enough to be ready to actually blossom;
this subject reminded me that I wanted to tell fellow gardeners what
plants actually turned out to be "easy to grow from seed" which the seed
sellers advertise for many many plants, most of which for me at least
were very hard to grow from seed;
but these I've been successful with:
sanguinaria
rose campion
aruncus
thalictrus
feverfew
salvia
painted daisy
jasione
