Wasn't this garden featured on one of the gardening shows on Public TV, the 
Victory Garden??  They moved in Lots and Lots of Huge Topiary trees from 
somewhere else.  The grower had been working on them for most of his life and 
when he died these people bought them and moved them.  Lost a few but did an 
enormous job.  

Seems like the other thing I remember is that they replaced most of the dirt 
in the area with a mixture of mostly sand.  I was as amazed at that as moving 
all those full-grown trees.  

Of course, I may be confsuing/combing 2 different stories. 

Ideas sound great so far!  Thank you and keep them coming.
