Re: Gardens to visit??

Hi Barbara,

If you should decide to stop at Kingwood, let me know and I'll give you
directions. If your trip takes you (or any other travelers in this
group) across U.S. Route 30, then it would be very easy to stop - only
about 1 1/2 miles south of US 30. The beds have different things in
bloom depending on the season. For example, Mother's Day is usually a
big draw for a huge tulip display. They also have a green house with
some interesting things in it and a few plants for sale.

Another place in the Mansfield area is Wade & Gatton Nurseries. They
have some nice gardens to walk through, espcecially if you're interested
in Hostas and some other shade plants, but their biggest thing is the
Hostas. They also have a Daylily display when that bloom season rolls
around.

P.S. Don't know about the OSU Arboretum, but can check into it if you're
interested.
