Hi, Leslie:
I've been trying to recall which little plant I naively put in the garden a
couple of years ago that strangled all in its path. Did yours form an intense
mesh-like root system close to the soil surface? I'm pretty sure it was
Linaria but not sure of the species,
however, it took me 2 years to eradicate it.
