Re: cutting for bouquets

We recently were working with a caterer that told us what to do with 
homegrown flowers that we wanted to bring in to the ballroom.  She said to 
put a plastic bag over the bouquet or bucket of flowers, open a small hole 
and spray Raid into it, and leave it for an hour.  They are really careful 
about bugs, I guess they've had a few mishaps!  
This method might not affect your blooms as much as washing them might.
