Peony Variety Recommendations ?

    I'm still waiting for the peonies to bloom here, but the various messages about peonies, (and the 'lock up your wallet before looking' site), have me 'lusting' ... and looking for recommendations for some additions. The 'perfect' peony would have lovely fragrance, strong stems, foliage that doesn't end up looking too tatty after blooms, strong growth with lots of flowers... I don't have a strong preference about color or even type of bloom (single, double, etc)...
   Does anyone have some recommendations to share ?
