I have been very upset. My Trollius (globeflower) after putting on such
a magnificent display last year, has succumbed to the winter we had and
is no more. Indeed a whole area of one of my beds has not returned,
including quite a few treasures. My Trollius was my favourite plant in
the garden.
So now I shall have to go look for another.
What really upsets me is that I meant to save some seeds from it and did
not get around to it.
Oh well, such is the gardener's lot.
I shall have to take pleasure in the rest of the garden
