A friend bought one first so I checked out the web and bought a Fuji 1400
also. It has been discontinued and a newer bigger better one takes its place
but if you can still find one at one of the big box stores it will probably
be discounted below $600 - probably a lot cheaper in the US. It suits our
needs - mainly saving garden pictures on the 'puter. We took a lot of
pictures of friends 50th Anniversary and she asked for copies of the
pictures as she felt they were better than ones taken with a regular camera.
Not sure if she meant the subjects or the results.
