mallva/alcea

I hesitate to post this, after the thread last week about how shabby
hollyhocks get after awhile...But, I have collected a bunch of seeds from my
'zebrina' (alcea or malva? I've seen it both ways.) If anyone would like
some, drop me a line privately, and I'll be more than happy to share. I
don't know if they come true from seed; seedlings from last year's flowers
haven't bloomed yet. But, boy, the mother plants have gone to town. Each
of the two I planted has at least a half-dozen stems, covered in blooms last
month from top to bottom! There are still blooms coming on, in between the
seed heads. Should they be cut back? (I did have to stake them last week,
when they began falling over.)

Anyway, if you'd like some seeds, let me know.
